New Friends Colony
New Friends Colony is one of the affluent and posh neighborhoods in South Delhi. NFC consists of A,B,C,D Blocks. D block Community Centre is the main market here which has a Cineplex (Reels) and Five Star Hotel (The Suryaa) as part of the complex. A multi-level parking lot is also scheduled to open nearby soon. The areas has a large number of international chain restaurants, as well as local Indian chains and other Indian, Chinese and Thai restaurants and various coffee shops. This market has few ''dhabas'' as well serving street food ranging from kebabs to shawarmas and everything else that fits into a small pocket.
In addition to food, the market also has few of the most upscale beauty salons in Delhi, and the area lately has turned into a pub district of Delhi. Being a market near Jamia Millia Islamia University and School of Planning and Architecture Hostel and Residential Complex, it gets a lot of youth crowd.

The landmarks in and around the area include 5 star hotel The Suryaa, Lotus Tower (Berjaya Tower) and Escorts Heart Institute. Another prominent landmark in the area is "Mata Ka Mandir" which is also located centrally and is easily accessible from all areas of the New Friends Colony and it consists of many Mosques and Gurudwaras.
